Mines-Nantes and University of Zambia sign agreement at Elysée Palace in Paris


An agreement between the University of Zambia, Mines Nantes and Telecom-Bretagne graduate schools was signed on February 08th, 2016 at the Élysee Palace, during the official meeting between French president Mr François Hollande and president of Zambia, Mr Edgar Lungu.
H.E. Mr Emmanuel Cohet and H.E. Humphrey Chibanda ambassadors were also present as well as Ms Beatrice Khaiat, general director of Campus France,.

The agreement purpose is to widen the international academic network and to support excellence in teaching and research, leading in particular to joint research programs between the two countries.

Zambia also attracts more and more French industries, which is an opportunity for our students' training period.



Republic of Zambia's ambassador and UNESCO secretary visit

Mr. Humphrey Chibanda and Mr. Kapaipi Hendrix respectively Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia and first UNESCO Secretary for Zambia were received by Mines-Nantes on December 04th, 2015.
They came to give a conference, to meet our students and to discuss a future partnership to be signed between the first university in the country,
University of Zambia (UNZA) and Mines-Nantes.
